Amanda is our Senior Associate Adviser and joined Investment Strategists in 2005 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Distinction and Majors in Accounting and Financial Planning. Amanda received the CPA award for Best Second Year Accounting Student in 2004 and the FPA award for Best Financial Planning Student in 2005. A combination of technical excellence and a consistently committed and caring approach with our clients makes Amanda a most valued member of our team.
Amanda manages the strategic advice, implementation and administration for a portfolio of private clients and oversees the management, compliance and administration functions of the Self Managed Super Funds.
She is an Accredited Specialist with SPAA and an ASX Accredited Listed Product Adviser.

Chandan Kumar is our Chief Information and Financial Officer. Chandan works closely with the directors and is responsible for the Financial Reporting and Information Technology in the business.
On the Financial side his responsibilities include management of expenditure vs budget, board reporting of P&L & BS position for all Entities, revenue and activity reporting, portfolio reporting on planner level and advice level. He also assists in preparing and analysing the Financial Reports for all Entities. He manages contracts with external providers through Service level Agreements. He is also responsible for AFSL Compliance Management Reporting with ASIC, Breach reporting and maintenance of registers. Chandan facilitates Board sessions and prepares Board Papers apart from maintaining Staff payroll and leave management.
On the Information Technology side his responsibilities include transition of software & systems to better support licence and upgrade efficiencies, analysing technology (software & hardware) used in the business and implement efficiencies, website coordination and management across all entities, hardware management and maintenance, client access and Process mapping all advice & compliance activities. He also provides team training on new systems and software.
Prior to commencing work at MTIS, Chandan has worked in the Financial Services space for 8 years specializing in Self-Managed Super Fund administration and compliance. He has also been instrumental in developing a state of the art technology software which provides the accountants and financial planners with complete control over their client relationships. Apart from being passionate about technology efficiency in businesses, Chandan is also involved in Rotary Club activities, in his cricket club and is a vivid tennis player.

David is our Associate Advisor at MTIS Private Wealth. Working closely with the Marcus Today Investment Strategists team and Principal Advisors, he is responsible for the preparation and presentation of investment advice, portfolio structuring and strategy advice, and communicating new investment opportunities.
David is a key contact between MTIS clients and Principal Advisors. He believes that a strong relationship between the advisor and clients is conducive to great results, which must be based on communication, longevity and loyalty. He is friendly and approachable, and is passionate about seeing clients achieve their goals and the opportunities it provides them.
Prior to commencing work at MTIS, David worked 11 years at a boutique financial planning firm, specialising in the advice, administration, compliance, and portfolio management of clients with Self-Managed Super Funds.

Alex has worked in the financial services industry for 9 years, and initially joined Investment Strategists in 2010. In 2014 Alex moved to London where he worked in the Investment Management division at Coutts & Co. He re-joined MTIS Private Wealth in 2016 as an Associate Adviser focusing on servicing and managing client investment portfolios and providing research support to the Marcus Today Team.

Shaun is an Associate Advisor at Marcus Today Investment Strategists with a background in Mortgage Broking and Financial Planning, having been in the industry since 2011.
Shaun comes to MTIS with a wealth of knowledge spanning investments, insurance, superannuation and Centrelink. He thoroughly enjoys working with our clients to help them achieve their financial goals and keeps up to date with economic issues and the financial markets.
Prior to working at MTIS, Shaun worked at a successful boutique financial planning firm where he built a strong knowledge of managing portfolios, industry compliance, insurance and learnt the importance of building long term client relationships.
Outside of work Shaun has a great appreciation of fine whisky and thoroughly enjoys gardening, where he is a committee member for the local community garden. He also enjoys getting out and about with his wife and mini dachshund Otis.

After 5 years specializing in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (“SMSF”) with another industry leading firm, Jo joined us to head Investment Strategists Accounting Services and provide quality accounting & advisory services to our clients. Jo is an Associate of The Tax Institute with over 8 years’ accounting and taxation experience and also a member of SMSF Association with 7 years’ experience working with SMSF.
Jo has a high level of competence in respect to a wide range of tax agent services including the preparation of income tax returns and business activity statements for a wide range of taxpayers

Completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a major in Accounting.
Chris joined the MTIS team in 2015 while completing his Bachelor of Commerce at the Australian Catholic University. He has a keen interest in the financial markets and together with the guidance from the Associate Advisers is expanding his knowledge and skills in the financial services industry. Chris has just begun to complete his RG146 which will expand his financial knowledge and ability to help with the needs of clients.
Outside of work Chris enjoys Travelling, Basketball, Soccer and Football.
Thomas is currently completing a B. Commerce and B. Science at Monash University, specialising in Finance, ecology and conservation biology.
Through the knowledgeable guidance of our associate advisors Thomas is able to explore his keen interest in financial markets as well as put his education and teamwork proficiencies into practice. Previous to working at MTIS Thomas Graduated Hailybury College achieving academic results that placed him in the upper echelon of students in the state, which he has continued to reinforce into his tertiary education.
Outside of MTIS Thomas relishes his work as a rowing coach, peer mentor and a member of the Young Leaders Advisory group with old Haileybury. As well as this, Thomas thoroughly enjoys his surfing, snowboarding and footy.
Henry has had a career in stockbroking since 1980 and worked in London as an option trader and a Member of the London Stock Exchange before emigrating to Australia in 1989.
Henry spent 7 years with Macquarie Group as Head of Cash and Derivative trading in Sydney before moving into Institutional sales and private client broking. For the last five years Henry has been a guest host on Sky Business News, has appeared regularly on the ABC TV and other media outlets for his market insights and experience. He has also run educational courses for students across the country and worked in close association with the Australian Shareholders Association. Henry has the RG146 in equities and ADA1 for options advice. He is also active on the speaker circuit working with Symposium, the Association of Technical Analysts and other industry groups presenting insights and commentary on the current market conditions.
Henry is a well-respected commentator and his mission is to try to make complicated financial news accessible and easier to comprehend. Having spent a life time in financial markets from a trader to client adviser and currently a full time writer and commentator, he can draw on over 35 years of experience, both here in Australia and London together with an extensive network of industry peers to try to make sense of the current challenging market conditions.
